GeForce NOW Shakes Up August With 26 New Games

August has officially arrived, and for subscribers of NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW, the month brings a massive influx of content. A total of 26 new titles are joining the cloud gaming library throughout the month, with the first wave of eight games already available for members to dive into immediately.

QuakeCon Presence and Cloud Gaming Demos

Beyond the library expansion, NVIDIA is making a significant splash at the QuakeCon gaming conference this week in Grapevine, Texas. Attendees visiting the NVIDIA booth are getting a firsthand look at the power of GeForce RTX 5080-powered Ultimate cloud gaming.

The demonstrations are designed to showcase the platform's high-fidelity capabilities, featuring stunning visuals rendered at up to 5K resolution at 120 frames per second on ultra-wide displays. Furthermore, the booth highlights the versatility of the service, demonstrating seamless, high-performance gameplay on the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld device.

"Conference attendees can see how thousands of PC games, including fan-favorite Bethesda titles, can move effortlessly across laptops, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, TVs and more — letting members pick up where they left off on nearly any supported screen."

For those unable to attend the event in person, NVIDIA is encouraging gamers to experience the Ultimate tier for themselves via a day pass, allowing them to jump into their favorite Bethesda titles from virtually any connected device.

Naval Warfare and New Additions

The headline addition for this week is the arrival of World of Warships: Legends. This free-to-play naval combat title allows players to take command of destroyers, cruisers, and battleships in massive multiplayer engagements. Players can jump straight into the latest content, including the Pacific Hammer Campaign and a fresh line of U.S. destroyers, without the need for lengthy downloads or installations.
