Anthropic is giving startups a free year of Claude Team and $1,000 in credits
Empowering the Next Generation of AI Builders
During this week’s SF Tech Week, AI powerhouse Anthropic unveiled a significant expansion to its Claude for Startups initiative. The program is designed to lower the barrier to entry for emerging businesses by providing subsidized access to its advanced AI models and a suite of technical resources.
What’s Included in the Package
Qualifying startups can now leverage a robust support package aimed at accelerating development. The benefits include:
- Claude Team Access: A complimentary one-year subscription to Anthropic’s premium plan, covering up to five seats.
- API Credits: $1,000 in credits to facilitate the integration of Claude into proprietary applications.
- Ecosystem Integration: Access to the Claude Marketplace, enabling developers to build and deploy custom plug-ins.
- Expert Guidance: Opportunities to schedule virtual office hours with members of Anthropic’s Applied AI team.
"We created this program because we believe the benefits of AI will reach most people through the companies that build on top of models, rather than through the models alone," the company stated. "That makes partnering closely with founders and developers central to our mission."
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for these benefits, companies must meet specific criteria: they must have been founded within the last five years or have secured funding within the last two years. Interested founders can submit their applications directly through the official Claude for Startups portal.
